Thailand Healthcare Energy Storage Project | 12kW / 20kWh
Thailand has built an extensive electricity network, yet temporary outages and voltage fluctuations can still affect local facilities, particularly those that rely on refrigeration and uninterrupted power. The Provincial Electricity Authority continues to strengthen distribution infrastructure and improve voltage quality across provincial, rural and island areas, while Thailand is also expanding access to renewable electricity and accelerating its clean-energy transition.
To support the reliable operation of a local healthcare and pharmaceutical facility, Cosuper Energy deployed a 12kW/20kWh independent energy storage system. When grid power is interrupted, the system automatically switches to battery power within 10 milliseconds, helping maintain continuous electricity for medicine refrigeration, lighting and other essential equipment. Its IP65-rated design, intelligent BMS protection and modular configuration provide stable, safe and cost-effective operation in demanding daily-use environments.
As Thailand continues integrating renewable energy and battery storage into its evolving power system, this project demonstrates how localized energy storage can translate national energy-transition goals into practical resilience—protecting temperature-sensitive medicines, reducing operational disruption and strengthening energy security where reliable power matters most.
